With all the discusion about the expansion draft and getting new owners and the loss of the ones this offseason I was just wonder if anyone had changed their minds in this vote we had earlier

I was thinking about this today, and if the vote swings back over to "No", we're going to need to drop some top players, especially pitchers, out of the rookie draft starting with the draft following the 1967 season. Reason is that with 4 extra teams in pro baseball there will be substantially more high quality players debuting in 1969, which is the list we'd use for that draft.
Added to what we have developing now, we'd end up like an all star league in a handful of seasons, and probably get top ten team ERAs lower than Cy Young winners managed in the same playing period.

This is a major change which strongly effects every team, so it's going to require a 2/3rds majority to pass. I've emailed the owners who haven't voted yet.
