This is the year we take control back. Whether it is the Mets, Braves, or a surprise team....

I'm glad you have faith but I see (4) problems CWS, DET, CLEV, WASH....even lowly Minny would contend in the NL.....Ok I exagerrated, Minny couldn't beat a team of taiwanese 13 year old little leaguers.

Maybe, but have you SEEN those Taiwanese little leaguers? Six foot four and shaving twice a day?
And that's the GIRLS team!

I smell a little rivalry brew. Get your shots in while you still can. BTW, there is no shame to losing to a Taiwanese little league team equipped with metal bats.

I like how Manning mentions "Mets, Braves, or surprise team". Who is the defending NL champ? I may lose the NL East to the Mets, but it's not because I'm worse than Atlanta.

Actually this year will probably have the same ending as last year for you: Win the weakest division in the league, lose to the East winner.

No offense, but you kinda need to reach at least the 60 win mark before you can have a rivalry brewing against a two time world champ. Know what I mean? In the last 4 seasons, while Washington was winning 96, 108, 101, and 93, Minnesota was losing more than those totals of games. Potential is wonderful, but it doesn't mean anything until you do it on the field. Just ask the Mets. I like how Manning mentions "Mets, Braves, or surprise team". Who is the defending NL champ? But I have a much much better team than last year, so we will see what happens. I am certainly not here to guarentee anything. Whoever does that with a crazy simulator tool running this game has some issues.

Haha, I am definitely not guaranteeing anything either. My chances for a repeat playoff run hinge greatly on Rand's team playing below its head again. I ran a sim yesterday where I won 106 games and finished second to the Mets' 108. When you consider the Phillies are gonna be pretty good again, that is one tough division.
No hard feelings Scott - just trying to start a little rivalry before we move to the same division in a year. But if you write off last season as a fluke, you are making a mistake.
