I just noticed something. The guy I noticed it on was my RP Horacio Pina so I'll use him as an example.
Pina was 25 years old in the 1969 season run in 2K4. When the file was turned over in 2K4, his age moved to 26. When the file got shipped out to 2K8, his birthday is entered as Feb 18. So, when you sim to the start of the season, Pina is 27 years old.
This wouldn't be a big deal, except he loses a year of development. It would also matter to guys at the end of their peaks, who would now have their skills fall off faster.
So, any suggestions for what to do with this type of situation? Change his birthday? Change his peak ages? Suck it up and deal with it?

Players from Latin American countries never have the correct birthdates on their certificates. ;D

I had noticed it too, long ago. Pina isn't the only one like this. Any player whose birthday falls between January 1 and April 1 will suffer the same fate.
One way we can look at this is that so many players are like this that it will affect everyone the same way.
Or we can look deeper into this. But honestly, I think looking into finances is more urgent, as is re-signing players, and soon, testing out player performance. At least, for the moment, those are the matters I'm studying in order to bring us asap to FA period.
If others express their feelings about this, we can see where it leads us.

Well I agree that the finance stuff is a bigger deal. My vote would be to just take all of the players with birthdays in Jan, Feb, and Mar and raise their peak start age and peak end age by one year. That seems like the most fair solution. It wouldn't be difficult (e.g. no additional research necessary) but it would take time. So I guess it's up to whether or not you feel like doing it Terry.
