In case anyone is even mildly curious to see what ratings BBM would give their players in 1987 in a newly generated game, I did a fast and dirty gen, roster export/import operation. Your teams are mostly your teams, but they have extra players on them because BBM roster exports don't track retired players, so players retired from the real TMBL file are on their 1987 teams along with the other players you accumulated over the years. It's at the website, or you could Click here to download it directly from this post. I'm partly making a point with this, but also think it could be somewhat interesting/amusing to look at. Most noticeable of all is the financial setup. When we began on 2k4, there was no difference in salaries and earnings between modern seasons and historical ones, so in our original 1955 file players were already getting multi millions of dollars a year, and we never changed the financial structure when we switched versions.
