When I evaluate the answers made, votes in the first option mean yes, votes in the second one mean maybe with a heavy slant towards no since we can't know if the owners really will get 2k11 or not, and votes in the last two mean no. The results of the last poll done about this are here, but we've had some turnover and resignations since then, and it's possible that some people have changed their minds, plus we did have 3 "no" votes. I'll assume that any owners who don't vote in this poll are not planning to migrate to 2k11, meaning all missing votes are considered to mean No. If it looks like we're going to lose too many owners to a version change, we'll open a discussion about whether to re-start in an earlier year with fewer teams or stay with our current version until 2k1 2 comes out in a few months. We'll have a new discussion about that if we need to, but feel free to comment in this thread if you already know you want to re-start or wait for 2k12.

since we've already decided to go to '11 i have already made moves based on this information. if something has changed since we last voted and decided it would be a bit of a bummer. as for '12, that's not really fair since you didn't include it in the last poll which has already been decided. i say a move to '12 should happen at some point after it's released. i would say anytime a new version comes out that we migrate to it.

Jacob, I said we would discuss it, not do it. We have 20 owners now, not counting me since I don't have my own team here anymore. 2k11 is old news, so although we could replace some owners when/if we switch over, we can't count on replacing 6 plus whatever number won't move to 2k11 with us. We also need to remember that the talent levels in this league are atrocious. 2k11, 2k12, 2kinfinity, a lot of potential owners will look at these predictions and then go look at the next league that's recruiting owners. People here may think the levels are fine, or better than risking re-ratings to their most favorite-ist best-est and Kewlist playerz, but new people who want to play historical baseball in a league aren't going want to play players this badly screwed up. That's not history, not historical, so we can't count on a ton of new owners. Of the 6 open teams, only 3 have caretakers. For the remaining 3 I make a move here and there, and I'll be the one needing to worry about who to sign or release for them in a few days, then who to draft for them when we get to that point. If we lose even more, then we either change something or we fold.

I noticed the simulation settings have barely any changes, has anyone done any research about what the most realistic simulation settings are? Like from the mogul boards etc.

Need to correct something I posted above. We have 7 open teams, 4 have caretakers, for 19 total owners (again, not including me). I'm not voting in this survey, so we're missing three poll replies at the moment.
Less than 24 hours have gone by since I posted this, but right now we're missing votes from the Twins, Brewers, and Cardinals.

We have 18 owners who say they'd be with us in 2k11, one of whom still needs to get the program. The remaining owner hasn't visited the board in a week, but we'll assume that he's been busy or sick or something.
The league will be playing the 1987 season in 2k11.
However, 1987 will be a sort of test season for us. If we don't get replacements or caretakers for the open teams, or if we lose any more owners, we'll need to reevaluate things.

Just an update, as I was the one that said I still needed to get the 2K11 software.... I now have it and am good-to-go for the switch.
